Hombuja (Shimoga District, Karnataka), February 10, 2019: Jain, Prakrit & Kannada scholar Sri B S Sannaiah has been chosen for the coveted “Siddhantha Keerthi Award”. He has been chosen for this award for his contribution to Jainism, Jain Philosophy & literature. ‘Siddhantha Keerthi Award’ has been constituted by Hombuja Jain Math and will be given to Jain scholars every year for the contribution to Jainism. Sri Sannaiah is a well know Jain scholar and has authored many books on Jainism and translated many Jain works from Prakrit to Kannada. He will be presented with the award at a religious gathering that will be held at Hombuja on 15th March 2020 on the occasion of the annual Rathayatra Mahotsava of Lord Parshwanath & Goddess Padmavati Yakshi.
