During the period around Deepawali the new yield would have started growing up. Symbolically part of the paddy buds (Battada TeneKadaru – ಬತ್ತದ ತೆನೆಕದರು) of new yield is cut, brought in a Planquin / Pallakki (ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ) and offered to the God during this period before the yeild being used for other purposes. This ritual called as “Battada TeneKadaru Taruvudu – ಬತ್ತದ ತೆನೆಕದರು ತರುವುದು’ was performed at Sri Kshetra Hombuja / Humcha on 10th November 2018.

Hombuja, 8th November 2018: On the occasion of the Deepawali – 2018 the Govu (Cow) pooja was held at Sri Kshetra Hombuja under the guidance of His His Holiness SwastiSri Dr. Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Hombuja Jain Math. The Cows that are being looked after at the ‘Goshala’ in Humcha were offered pooja in front of the Jain Math at Hombuja by Jain Shravika.

Hombuja, 7th November 2018: Lord Mahavir Moksha Kalyana Pooja – Deepawali  was held at Sri Kshetra Hombuja under the guidance of His His Holiness SwastiSri Dr. Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Hombuja Jain Math. The Nirvan Ladu (Laddu) prepared for offering to Lord Mahavir was taken round the Parshwanath temple in a processing and then offered to the Idol in front Parshwanath temple. This was followed by Panchamrutha Abhisheka to the marble idol of Lord Mahavir. Later on Mahamangala Arathi was performed.

Hombuja, 7th September 2018: 2nd Shravanamasa Pooja of Goddess Padmavati Devi was held at Sri Kshetra Hombuja under the guidance of His Holiness SwastiSri Dr.Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Hombuja Jain Math. Grains of various varieties were offered to Goddess Padmavati. His Holiness SwastiSri Dharmasena Bhattarakha Swamiji of Amminabhavi Jain Math had visited Hombuja and participated in the morning poojas. His Holiness SwastiSri Bhattakalanka Bhattarakha Swamiji of Sonda (Swadi) Jain Math had visited Hombuja and participated in the evening poojas.  – Sri Kshetra Hombuja

Hombuja, 24th August 2018: 2nd Shravanamasa Pooja of Goddess Padmavati Devi was held at Sri Kshetra Hombuja under the guidance of His Holiness SwastiSri Dr.Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji. Naivedyas of 108 different forms and fruits of 24 different kinds were offered to Goddess Padmavati. – Sri Kshetra Hombuja

Hombuja, 9th June 2018: As a apart of the Jana Kalyan Programmes at Sri Kshetra Hombuja – Blood Donation, Blood, Blood Pressure and Diabetes Check Up Camp were held under the guidance of His Holiness SwastiSri Dr. Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji of Hombuja Jain Math. The camp benefited hundreds of villagers and devotees at Hombuja. – Sri Kshetra Hombuja
