Hombuja (Shimoga District, Karnataka), June 25, 2013: The mandala pooja of Guddada Basadi will be conducted on June 29 & 30, 2013 under the guidance of His Holiness Swasti Sri Devendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji, the pontiff of Hombuja Jain Math. ‘Sarva Dosha Prayashchita Vidhana’ will be performed on June 29th. The Masthakabhisheka of Lord Parshwanath will be held on June 30th. The idol will be anointed with 108 Kalashas followed by panchamrutha abhisheka. The devotees are requested to participate actively in the celebrations.
It can be recalled here that the panchakalyana mahotsava of Guddada Basadi was conducted from May 10-16, 2013. Mandala pooja is performed after 48days of completing the panchakalyana mahotsava. – Sri Kshetra Hombuja
