Hombuja (Hosanagara Taluk, Shimoga District, Karnataka), April 13, 2014: The 2613th birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir was celebrated at Sri Kshetra Hombuja under the guidance of His Holiness Deevendrakeerthi Bhattarakha Swamiji the pontiff of Hombuja Jain Math. On the occasion the idol of Lord Mahavir was taken in a planquin through a procession across all the main roads of Hombuja. This was followed by special abhiskeha to the Lord.
The staff and priets of Hombuja Jain Math and members of the Hombuja Jain samaj actively participated in the celebrations. – Sri Kshetra Hombuja
